Illustrator Shapes
Creating a landscape picture is by combining some of the contour creation tools in Adobe Illustrator a simple matter. First create a new document from the File menu. For the background landscape we rename it Landscape and would create a brand new layer. Layers will help us to organize and edit our illustration after. Open the Swatches panel and create a fresh swatch by opening the Swatch libraries form the options fly- out list. Browse to Color Books and select the Pantone Solid Coated library, for instance. Here we have about 1000 assorted colours which are used in the print industries. Select the Pen tool and a landscape colour. Then press Shift to constrain the drawing to 45 and 90 degrees, and click on several points on the canvas to create the mountains in the space. Duplicate this object by pressing the Alt key (Mac: Option) and dragging the shape with the Move tool. Afterward vary the shape by moving the anchor points.
For the Foreground shape create a green rectangle and copy it below or above. Then pick the Blend tool and click on both rectangles. Discover how many Measures, so creating a blend that is graded.
Create the blossoms by clicking once on the display and selecting the Polygon tool, thereby opening a dialog box. Change the amount of the radius to 15mm, for instance and sides to 12. Then pick likewise click and the Star tool on the screen to open the options for the tool. Alter the Radius 1 field to 15mm, Radius 2 to 20mm and how many sides to 12. Go to click, Align and Window on the horizontal and vertical alignment. This gives us the head of the flower. For the leaves and stalk choose the Pencil tool and press Shift to constrain the movement to 90 and 45 degrees. Group these objects collectively by selecting and right-clicking. Copy and change the scales.
To create the bee first creates a brand new layer hide the other layers and called Bee. Choose the Star tool and click on the artwork - board. Alter the Radius 1 field to 16 and Radius 2 to 18 and number of points to 30. Delete the fill and duplicate the structure. Make two more copies for the bee’s stripes. Then bring the first one to the top by right-clicking and picking Organize, Bring to Front. Right-click again and select Make Cutting Mask. The legs and wings are made out of the Pen tool. Add a fill colour to the wings but reduce the opacity to 75%. When whole, group the various parts together. You could also save this as a Symbol by dragging the object to the Symbols panel.
Making five horizontal lines of a small stroke weight creates the bee’s flight path. Then select them and drag them into the Brushes panel, choosing New Pattern Brush and Stretch to Fit. Use this new brush with Brush Pencil or Line tools to create a wavy line.
The clouds are created on a fresh layer. Make a blue rectangle that is big for the skies, and change the fill colour to your gradient of Dark.
Next create a little white circle of 15 x 15 points. Then pick the circle and go to Object, Transform, Go. Then choose flat movement of 20 points, vertical zero, and hit Copy. Select both and replicate, only twice the distance. Repeat again until you've a huge block of white circles. Next choose the Lasso tool and draw on a cloud form on top of the circles. Then go to Inverse, Select and delete. You may require to ungroup them first.
